Europe

Europe boasts an almost unfair wealth of attractions: the graceful canals of Venice, the rugged-t0-perfection Scottish Highlands and the rich tapestry of Istanbul. Can you name another destination with such natural beauty, history and culinary diversity?

San Lorenzo Sea Lodge | Blue Deer

A luxury sailing catamaran becomes a home at sea, going beyond familiar borders and navigating towards hidden beauty. The four cabins combine the pleasure of privacy with that of comfort and intimacy. There are ample personal spaces, illuminated by large vertical windows in which the waves are reflected. Rediscover and enjoy those little everyday pleasures – including the joy of doing nothing. Here you can greet the day, make a leisurely breakfast, think, read, dream, revel in being aboard the boat and enjoy time with no limits.

I put my trust in Your Travel Designer to create a special trip to Paris and the South of France with my daughter. They truly exceeded my expectations and accomplished what was most important to me — lifelong memories — priceless.

Europe is more than just a warm, summertime weather destination. I love traveling in the off or shoulder seasons for a variety of reasons: less crowds, better pricing and more opportunities to mingle with the locals.

The key to family travel is making sure you have the right balance of "planned" activities and free time. I always like to book half day guided walking tours for our family with amazing local guides. It gives us a great overview of a destination. Plus, we get to pick their brains and soak up info like a sponge, find out their favorite restaurants, shops, insider info. Then we have the afternoons to explore on our own, either together or independently. Maybe someone wants to kick back and relax and enjoy the wonderful hotel and someone wants to hit a museum - no judging!

Interactive experiences are key to making memories. Cooking classes, biking excursions, hiking treks, going to a local school for a project or anything hands on where everyone can participate will bring so much joy and discussed around dinner tables for years to come.
